Our Mission

Q: What are your objects?

1. Promote the spirit of the hive, i.e the greatest good for the greatest number.
2. Operate a demonstration apiary.
3. Provide a regular series of meetings and field days for the instruction of members and the interchange of ideas
4. Demonstrate the activities of the hive throughout the year, by competent beekeepers.
5. Provide advice and assistance to our members.
6. Assist members of the public who are worried by swarms, wild hives, or bees.
7. Educate the public on the value of bees in the environment.
8. Create a feeling of 'camaraderie' among beekeepers consistent with the above spirit.
